The Kenai River is best known for the world record King Salmon (97 lbs. 4 ozs.) caught by Les Anderson on May 17, 1985. Each year we have a tremendous run of salmon up the river. May, June, July and August are the best months for Kings, Sockeye, Pinks & Coho. Kenai River public bank fishing is just a short walk away.
